We spent a few days hangin’ in San Francisco. Amazing coffee and breakfast at Blue Bottle café, then off exploring china town, which, by the way is the biggest Chinatown outside of Asia! Checked out SF’s Crookedest Street: Lombard Street. So beautiful with hydrangeas lining the road all the way down. A run to the top of Coit Tower to check out the view via one of the steepest streets in the Western Hemisphere Filbert Street #LegBurn.
We then headed to the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Markets and purchased some fresh fruit, cheese, bread and a pressed juice (On this particular day we decided not to swap the juice for a Pinot Noir!). We dragged our pickings along the waters edge until we found a place with a decent view to spread out and to eat!
After stuffing ourselves on multiple layers of bread/cheese sandwiches, we decided to burn off some calories by renting a couple of bikes and riding across the Golden Gate Bridge. First of all I'm not an accomplished cyclist by any means and riding along a small strip of concrete suspended sixty seven meters above a large body of water got me quite nervous but the view was amazing and well worth it!
Defiantly a definite must do on the checklist of things to experience!
