A weekend in Dubrovnik just isn't enough - but seeing as though I was primarily there for family/work and a minuscule part of my getaway, I made sure I made time for everything in my one single free day - and boy was it a good one! With only 3hrs sleep after a late flight arrival (which of course didn't leave on time) and straight into a late night meeting (which I can't complain about because the view was spectacular) I was woken up before sunrise by a phone call from my mum. Because I knew I would have minimal time I planned my epic day to a ’T’. I got to see and experience so much and enjoyed every part of it. Each day started with a sunrise - #SunriseEveryDay - I got to experience the old town while it was empty of tourists and the only sign of life were market stall owners wheeling their produce over the smooth stone streets. If you’ve ever visited Dubrovnik in the summer before you'll be familiar with tourist filled streets and streaming sun reflecting off the white stone making it a busy bustling hot mess.
