Over the last few weeks I’ve been training for an epic day of fitness. My Saturday mornings were spent on the Nike Mega Boat floating around Sydney Harbour and working up a sweat and pulling some twice-a-dayers to get ready for NTC Sydney 2016.
Last Saturday I worked out for 5hrs with 2000+ girls which was inspiring and motivating #GirlPower! There was Boxing, Circuit, Running, Pilates and Dancing - a day full of sweat and smiles!
Here are three ways to keep you going for a day full of moving!
Make sure you spend the weeks preparing yourself for the event. Don’t just think you can turn up and do it without having pushed yourself in training. Make time to put the effort in so you can be the best you possibly can.
Fuel your body
Be sure you fuel your body and fuel it well. Get up and have an awesome breakfast that will give you energy to perform at your best - eggs and avo on toast! Make sure you pack snacks of nibblies, bananas, nuts and of course you can’t forget water, water and more water! I cannot stress enough how important water is, especially if it’s a hot day in the sun.
Believe in yourself
You can do it. Give yourself motivating pep talks throughout the day. This pretty much means you’re going to give it your best. Work hard to achieve results, push yourself, take it all in and enjoy every moment, even if you are soaking in sweat and gasping for air you'll be #BetterForIt 😛
